Attorney Spotlight: Natalle Kezy

In what area of law do you practice and why did you choose this?

I practice estate planning and I chose this area of practice because I feel that I can have a positive impact on people’s lives by planning for worst case scenarios.

When did you decide you wanted to be a lawyer?

Growing up with my dad, who is an attorney, I knew I wanted to be a lawyer from a young age. By high school, I joined debate and realized that I loved the logical reasoning and researching to come up with creative solutions to complex prompts.

What would you be doing if you weren’t a lawyer?

I would be the next Anthony Bourdain.

What is your favorite vacation spot?

Anywhere in the south of Spain on the Mediterranean, soaking up the sun, eating Spanish food, and listening to the sea.

What is your favorite Twin Cities restaurant?

Sanjusan! I love a good fusion restaurant!

What is an item on your bucket list?

I would love to backpack Southeast Asia.

When you are not working, what would people find you doing?

I would be on long walks with my dog, cooking for friends, or at spin class.

What is your favorite part of practicing law?

I appreciate being able to help people using intellectual solutions.

Who is your hero?

My grandma was my hero. She was the kindest and most caring person I knew.

What might people be surprised to know about you?

I solo backpacked Europe for 1.5 months.
