Phaedra Howard practices in the firm’s Real Estate and HOA practice groups and is an MSBA Board Certified Real Property Law Specialist. She serves as the Chair of the Minnesota Legislative Action Committee for the Community Associations Institute. She is a fellow in the College of Community Association Lawyers – the only lawyer in Minnesota to hold this honor.

Robert Keena has been Chair of Hellmuth & Johnson’s 35-attorney litigation practice since 2001. He is an active member of the real estate, construction, probate, and business law practices at the firm, serving clients in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Illinois. He is a frequent speaker and author on many legal issues, including construction law and litigation matters.

Carol Moss is head of the firm’s cannabis industry practice group. Her practice focuses on advising and guiding businesses through planning and development in the cannabis space. She represents cannabis clients at all points in the product stream – from growers to retailers. She is a local and national spokesperson for the cannabis industry.

Alec Sherod is head of the firm’s M&A practice group. He assists buyers, sellers, and financial advisers in a wide variety of domestic and international M&A transactions. He represents clients in financing transactions, including advising issuers and investors in securities law compliance; handling acquisition financing for lenders, borrowers, and investors; and representing clients in private placements of equity and debt.
