Alex Williams is an associate attorney at Hellmuth & Johnson, where he focuses his practice on commercial real estate and construction law. He advises clients on transactional matters throughout all phases of real estate development and construction.
Prior to joining Hellmuth & Johnson, Alex worked in the real estate development industry, concentrating on mixed-use, multifamily projects in Minnesota and Tennessee. He served as Vice President of Development for one of the nation’s leading multifamily developers, contributing to the development of more than 2,700 units and over $1.1 billion in total project capitalization. Alex now draws on that industry experience and his creative problem-solving ability to help clients navigate the wide range of issues that can arise throughout the course of a real estate transaction.
Alex earned a B.S. in Real Estate from the University of St. Thomas, an M.S. in Real Estate Development from New York University, and a J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law.
Alex is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and is licensed to practice in Tennessee State Courts and Minnesota State Courts.
