Anne Regan is a partner at Hellmuth & Johnson. She advocates for individuals, small businesses, and public clients in complex and class action litigation across the country, steadfast in her belief that litigation can level the playing field and drive results for individuals and businesses alike. An unrepentant generalist with a knack for playing offense no matter which side of the “v” her clients find themselves on, her experience spans the A-Z of multiple industries, from agriculture and healthcare, insurance and financial services, to housing and manufacturing. Coupled with her ability to see all angles and moves a particular case or opponent may present is her willingness to dig in and fearlessly pursue creative and thoughtful solutions to legal challenges. Never lost, however, is her empathy for her clients and desire to achieve the best outcome for them. Her work has assisted in multi-million dollar class and mass action recoveries.
Anne’s practice focuses on consumer protection, antitrust, data breach, employment, and housing matters. Anne also spent nearly a decade providing litigation and advisory services to a state pension fund and held an appointment as Special Assistant Attorney General to the State of New Mexico in a case involving antitrust and consumer fraud violations in the payment card industry.
Courts have recognized Anne’s leadership and experience, appointing her as Class or Lead Counsel in multiple class actions, and to leadership positions in multi-district litigation. Anne’s success and skill have also been recognized by the public and her peers.
Anne was recognized on the Minnesota Rising Stars® list from 2012-2013, and since 2014, has been named to the Minnesota Super Lawyers® list. She also has been recognized on The Best Lawyers in America® list since 2024.
