Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel (Morton, Minnesota) recently acknowledged that its systems and possibly its customers’ private information was impacted in the recent ransomware attack and data breach. The cybersecurity incident appears to have affected Jackpot Junction’s guest services, as well as its gambling services and restaurant operations. According to several posts on its Facebook page, Jackpot Junction has been facing “unforeseen technical issues” since March 27, 2025.
It is currently believed that the Russian ransomware criminal group called RansomHub is responsible for the cyberattack. Jackpot Junction has responded to customer inquiries that an internal investigation is ongoing with no timeline for when it will be complete and further understands the urgency to provide additional information, but is unable to comment further at this time.
