Hellmuth & Johnson is pleased to announce attorney James VandenBergh has joined the firm as an associate in the firm’s Business & Corporate practice group.
VandenBergh advises clients on a broad range of transactional matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. He represents buyers and sellers throughout all stages of the transaction process and counsels clients on corporate governance, ownership agreements, succession planning, and general business matters. He brings prior experience as a judicial extern and in the financial services industry, providing insight into both the legal and financing aspects of transactions.
VandenBergh earned his J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, his M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business, and his B.S. in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls. He is licensed to practice in Minnesota and Wisconsin State Courts.
